The Buster Keaton Vintage Collection Vol. 3 is another fine collection of the hysterical vaudevillian Buster Keaton. The Blacksmith portrays Keaton as a blacksmith s assistant creating mayhem at every turn. The Balloonatic has Keaton competing with a woman in the outdoors. In Steamboat Bill Jr. Keaton plays Willie, a steamboat captain s son, who doesn t quite match his father s idea of what a steamboat captain should look like. Then he ends up falling in love with the daughter of a rival captain. However, for all his faults, Willie ends up saving the day. All films were written by Keaton and The Blacksmith and The Balloonatic were directed by Keaton as well.
